“Mystery Speaker”, Hollywood Actor and Director, Clint Eastwood, spoke tonight at the RNC Convention in Tampa, lending a rare Hollywood presence to the GOP. The 82 year-old Eastwood’s speech contained some good lines and elicited some laughter, but was punctuated by uncomfortable moments throughout. While his speech was well-received by convention attendees, it seemed unscripted, awkward, and halting at times. The applause line of the night was, “We own this country…Politicans are employees of ours.” And referring to President Obama, “When somebody does not do the job, we got to let them go.” And of course, the big wrap-up, “Go ahead,…make my day.” But the question is, what was the empty chair about….?
